If the government subsidized these goods, then the tax payers are paying for the foreigners.
If the price of goods in foreign countries are higher, then foreigners will choose to purchase them in our country rather than buying imported goods at higher price - then our exported goods are not making profit.
If they keep taking away our goods without control, then our own people will face a shortage of goods - then price will increase.
Have to look at economy as a whole, not one or two ppl buying stupid souvenirs.
